Flipkart has also setup a special page for Moto X Play. According to the timer placed on Flipkart, Moto X Play will launch exactly at [highlight color=”red”]12 noon on 14 September[/highlight].
Moto X Play is a lower specced alternative to Moto X Style. Both the phones were announced along with Moto G 3rd gen in July. Moto X Play comes with a 5.5 inch full HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC clocked at 1.7 Ghz, 2GB RAM. The phone comes with a 21MP rear camera, not capable of 4K recording and a 5MP front camera. The phone should allegedly last for 48 hours with it’s huge 3630 mAh battery. The smartphone runs on latest Android 5.1.1. It comes with 16GB and 32GB variants with microSD card slot. The phone supports 4G LTE bands existing in India.
According to imports tracking site Zauba, Moto X Play (XT1562) is being imported at INR 22,228 for 32GB version. The retail price could be anywhere between INR 25,000 and INR 30,000.
